MacDonald’s Transport was established in 1933 by the late Mr. HJ MacDonald. His son and current chairman Mr. CF (Freddie) MacDonald joined his father in 1983 and took control of the business in 1985 after the sudden death of his father. The current designated CEO is Mr. D (Danie) Janse van Rensburg who joined MacDonald's Transport in 1994.



MacDonald’s Group has fast evolved from a medium sized family owned business to one of the largest transporters in South Africa.
