Situated 10km west of Stilbaai, this little hamlet is one of the most popular holiday resorts along the Garden Route and offers spectacular views of the ocean. Accommodation facilities, of a very high standard, include a caravan park close to the beach front, self catering houses and flats, B+B’s and guesthouses. Facilities and services include shops that also provide take-away foods, a postal service, and ATM. Sporting facilities include a 9-hole golf course, jukskei and tennis. The waves at Jongensfontein are very popular among surfers while fishing, swimming, snorkelling and scuba-diving can also be enjoyed. The “Fonteinhuisie” is a historical landmark and serves as museum and local info centre.
