Blue Lantern Holiday Cabins Unclaimed

The strict rules regarding noise/music/parties etc are what attracted us to the Blue lantern. We traveled the 1000 km's from Bloemfontein expecting quiet surroundings by the sea. On our second night some neighbours had a party with loud music (bass and all) until 2 am. There is no way of reporting disturbances as the only available number goes to an answering machine. At 08:30 after a long and sleepless night we went to the office with our complaint. The complaint that rules are not and cannot be policed or violations be reported was met with resistance. We were told that the owner is away in London and that the person we had dealt with from the beginning was only standing in and there's "nothing she can do." When I indicated that my sister is an hotel manager and always has someone on call for complaints I was asked why I don't go and stay there. From here it got ugly. In short there was no action, no apologies and although there were no more late night parties the loud music continue
