Rusticus 'Of The Land' Vintage Cellar Unclaimed

Rusticus 'of the land' Vintage Cellar vinifies grapes according to traditional, minimal interventionist practices in their antique wine cellar, hence our wines are 'of the land' which is the latin translation of Rusticus.  All wine making is done by hand according to old world methods, no computers or electronics in this cellar, only belts and pulleys, blood, sweat and tears.  All the wines are vinified by Stephan Busch by means of antique wine making equipment, open, waxed, concrete fermentation tanks, buckets and oak barrels.  No filtration, no pumps.  Only small quantities of wine are produced each vintage from only those varieties which we believe were exceptional for that season.  Step back in time and join us for a wine tasting and cellar tour at Rusticus, or book our rustic beamed cellar with fireplace for a function.  We are situated 1,5 hours from Cape Town in the picturesque Cape Boland near Robertson, right at the foot of the Langeberg mountains.
