Peaceful Amsterdamhoek Village commands unspoilt views of Algoa Bay with miles of golden beaches. Nearby Bluewater Beach is an ideal and safe spot for swimming, surfing, windsurfing and parasailing amongst other outdoor activities. There are also 2 hiking trails, one 2km long, marked with yellow arrows and a longer trail of 7km marked with red arrows. Both start at the top of Tippers Creek Road between Amsterdamhoek and Bluewater Bay.
