Subsequent to the promulgation of the new Asbestos Regulations of 2001 in 2002, we were one of the first Contractors to register with the Chief Inspector of The Department of Labour as a Registered Asbestos Contractor which is compulsory and has to be renewed annually With the outstanding insulation properties of Asbestos, it was the preferred insulation material over a very wide spectrum of the industry over many years, but the dangers of asbestos exposure was never understood by the people who used it Cape Asbestos Removals was founded in 2000, and as experienced asbestos workers we are in a position to identify and safely remove hazardous asbestos materials

Mr. Louis Botha has started the Company, together with his late father Louis J Botha Snr,  Western Cape Asbestos Removals (Pty) Ltd, since inception in 1999 and first registration as Registered Asbestos Contractor (RAC2017/OHH/CI-194) in 2000, has mechanical background as well as a Marketing Management Qualification. He also had attended many training sessions over the years and with 19 year experience in the Asbestos removal field and are qualified enough to give expert advice on all asbestos related issues. Louis Botha is the Managing Director of the Company and still involved in the day-to-day operation of the Company.
