Finsbury is a 3 100 hectare property owned by Finsbury Estate Share Block
The Estate is also home to rare Orchids and Clivias and it’s estimated that there are approx. 2300 species of plants to be identified. Wildlife roams free. Finsbury is home to Bush Buck, Eland, Kudu, Zebra, Bush Pig, Warthog, Jackal and several members of the cat family including Leopard. Many of these magnificent creatures are sighted whilst walking the hills and even more are captured by the camera traps strategically located around. The Estate falls within the Mount Anderson Catchment Reserve and as such is a nature conservation area. This pristine environment is enhanced through an energetic and systematic programme to remove exotic plants and allow unhindered movement of all the wildlife in the area.
