Industrial Designer Ken Hall was approached by Rudolph de Bruin, successful industrialist, CEO of Africa Precious Minerals and Director and co-founder of Sephaku Holdings, with a request to design a low cost stove. This stove needed to be durable, robust, safe to use and had to use clean cooking fuel (ethanol based) instead of paraffin. Ken is the designer of the Cobb, a small portable indoors braai that uses charcoal briquettes, now sold worldwide in more than 42 countries
