Sandman Quarries - Quality Aggregate Suppliers Sandman Quarries was founded in 1985 when Mr PH Potgieter and Mr HJ Potgieter realised the potential of mining in the Zwartkops River, an area that forms part of their property. From a modest beginning of a Sand Screening plant with a staff compliment of five (5) employees and a single front end loader, Sandman Quarries has grown steadily, and with the increase in demand for construction aggregate for the building industry, we now have a fully operational Sand Screening and Crushing Plant, a staff compliment of 30 employees and maintain a substantial fleet of earth moving equipment. With qualified in house maintenance staff we are able to reduce downtime to the plant and peripheral equipment.
