The Blu Pumpkin Cafe, situated in the beautiful Byrne Valley in the Natal Midlands, is one of the undiscovered gems of Natal. At the Blu Pumpkin Cafe in Byrne, we offer a la carte menus which changes with the seasons.  The Blu Pumpkin sources as much of our fresh produce locally, much of the herbs and vegetables organically grown on our smallholding in the valley.  That way when we pick in the morning we know our produce is fresh.The Blu Pumpkin offers a range of menus to suit any ocassion and budget.We also have paintings, jewellery, jams and pickles all sourced in the area.  Come out for a relaxed lunch or dinner at the Blu Pumpkin Cafe in Byrne.The Byrne Valley and Village is rich in history, being settled in the 1840s.  There is a wonderful museum of old steam engines, aircraft engines, old bakkies and trucks.  Several artists live in Byrne.
