Last Friday my wife and I went to eat lunch at Cafe al Fresco. There were specials of the day written on the board on the wall, but without prizes. We asked the waiter for the prizes and he said it's R50 for all the stews. We ordered a curry chicken and curry lamb and although it was a very dainty serving it was tasteful. When the bill came we were charged R75 for each. I went and paid the bill at the counter and told the woman behind the till that I was not completely satisfied with the sudden prize change. The waiter stood there and she asked whether he told us it was R50. He said yes, but that he made a mistake and that he was sorry. I said that I was prpared to pay, but against my will because we would have ordered something elce if we knew the higher prize. She then made a very childish remark - was the food not worth R75. I said that it was not relevant whether it's worth it or not. She then pulled out a R50 note from the till and threw it to me over the counter, whereafter she
