Abunai Zola / Dube Young Blood / Cida Shotokan Karate Unclaimed

The above-mentioned organization is one of the leading karate club in Soweto, situated in Dube Community Centre and we have another branch in Zola 1- Bridgeman Hall and Cida. Club was established in 2000 by Sensei Bongie Ndwandwe. The club has been offering a free training since its formation, although karate is one of the expensive sports in the country. As community members, we have realize that people like to see youth getting involved in youth activities as a method of moving them away from crime to be recruits into committing crime, which ultimately lands them in prison.Dube Young Blood/Abunai Zola/Cida Karate Club has a large membership of 45 students from Dube and surrounding areas. Some of our members are from disadvantages families and they like this activity. We as a club have produced local and provincial champions and we are proud of what we have achieved and we still have a very long way to go.
