Our KOOLCUB project however, is that of a Sustainable Income Generating Project because we would like to think we are ensuring that some of the costs involved in the day to day running of our clinic and hospice, will be maintained and sustained through our own efforts, both now and into the future The KOOLCUB Signature Range and the KOOLCUB Kitchen Range of products are currently in process and these will not only extend the range of products but will also and specifically be produced to provide work for grannies and others in our community The design of the Operation Smile KOOLCUB Logo was borne out of the desire to find a suitable universal image to portray both the wonder and the vulnerability of all children – particularly those we are privileged to care for at Northwood Our mission in every aspect of the care and service we offer involves the foundation of our 3 Rs – Resilience Whilst the core focus of the organisation is that of Paediatric Palliative Care, our Community Based Projects all serve to undergird and strengthen the holistic care of families in their community settings
