Our equipment is unmatched in ability when it comes to safely removing material spillages from areas around and under conveyors that are otherwise unaccessible by means of conventional equipment such as bobcats, front-end loaders and more effective than using purely manual labour to remove the spillages. Our philosophy is “HANDLE ONCE” so as soon as this material has been recovered it can be discharged directly back onto the conveyor making it a one-step process that reflects that philosophy. We manufacture industrial vacuums from 15kw right up to 300kw in both diesel and electric formats that are modern versions of the famous Transvac units that were made in South Africa by Vac-Air and popular in the gold mines of the last 10 to 20 years. These systems allow for the efficient collection of spillage material and are not only limited to this application but are also very effective at the recovery of high value and high grade fines material which cannot be recovered effectively by normal means. This has proven to be a viable “second-life” for mines that have already been mined with standard equipment and still have value lying on the ground in both passages and stopes.
