Schonwald Group grows sweetcorn,babycorn under contract for Spar & Woolworths. We are suppliers of sweetcorn to overseas buyers. We just build a 3000m2 mordern packhouse which got the most advance hydrocooling system installed to cool any product down to 2 dec C in one hour. The high care area can prepack all cut products. The farm and  pachouse is global gap certified and the packhouse are capable of packing more than 200 000 cobs of product per day. Our work force are more than 300 permanent people. We also grow grape fruit and oranges and mangoes. We export fruit al over the world. Farming is done on 1200 ha in Hoedspruit, Avcolaco and upcoming black farmers farms. We are Main suppliers for Spar and Woolworths.
