Industaff Audio Testing cc was founded in 2005 by Phillip and Gail Sampson, the Members.The business is genuinely 100% black owned, managed and controlled.  The Members are in control of the day to day running of the business, together with Adrian Barros the resident Audiometrist.  Adrian and Phillip are registered with the South African Society of Occupational Health Nursing Practitioners (SASOHN).Our core business is to provide Employers / Clients with Baseline Audiometric, Vision and Spirometry (Lung Function) screening services.We ensure that client companies are compliant with the Noise-Induced Hearing Loss Regulations which form part of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 1993 (No 85 of 1993) under sections 43 and 44.  Non-compliance will result in prosecution.  Target industries are the Building and Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing and any industry where the noise levels could be at or above the 85dbA noise-rating limit.Our Vision Screening service is targeted at employees who read a lot, work with computers, do colour mixing and who drive, particularly long distance drivers who drive at night, artisans like Precision Turners and Toolmakers who need good eyesight in order for them to take exact measurements from measuring tools such as verniers and micrometers.Our Spirometry (Lung Function) Screening service is targeted at employees who are in occupations which could affect their lungs if not screened at regular intervals.  Employees in the automotive spray painting and chemical industries are particularly prone to lung problems
