Good day I bought a watermelon on Monday the 8th at Checkers Festival Mall at the afternoon and when I returned it, it had a Checkers tag but I unfortunately lost the slip. I showed them the till I payed and the cashier confirmed that they indeed assisted me about 10 minutes ago. The manager Chris said i must come back the following day because it was almost their closing time, I then came back the following day and he told me that there's he can help me with, while they took the watermelon the previous day and they told me that the watermelon was eaten and it wasn't at all rotten but they still didn't refund or exchange for me.

I want to call the Department if Health to go and investigate this issue because the food is not good for consuming and makes people sick. I would like an answer for this issue. Hi I've been a customer in checkers festival mall for almost 7 years now bcoz of the good service and the quality of the food I got there,but yesterday on da 18 of July 2017 I felt harassed and undermined as I entered the waiting for my husband as he was still in da loo I went straight to the cosmetics section busy checking da prices comparing wat is cheap and not..because of my eye problem I looked closer to the prices but someone somewhere thought I was stealing..i just heard the security radio describing my clothes and I could hear that two rows away from the security..i just saw people staring at me..i was so hurt and I continue shopping wen my husband arrived.im highly disappointed and hurt so much,what they did to me was very unfair..those camera people should at least send someone to me if they saw putting something inside my bag...I am really really disappointed

I just want to tell head office about checkers hyper in forest hills, the client service is not good, every time I go to wine section there's no one and also I had spatchcock for 3.99/g on board but on the chicken it said 39.90/G,when I complaint the manager asked me if I know what is grams? The staff also talks very loud in front of customers, they get preference on things on sale, you find out customers fight for items with customers.

Pamfelt advertised Piemans 2X4 per pcak & 33X500ml bottle cold drink for R49 for all 5. Manager(Quintin Swart)at Checker hyper Carnival mall refused to give to customers said it was a printing mistake. Checkers hyper at Boksburg gave it as advertised( Mr Veldman)

I have called 6 of your stores earlier and i am now trying your head office with no answer. None of your staff are able to give me a price of a PLATINUM 3 TRAY BUFFET SERVER!!! On the 30th February 2016 I bought an iron at Checkers store in Magrieta st. in Klerksdorp and on the 2nd September 2016 it was not working and I had to take it back to the store for exchange, but was not given the new receipt of the new iron. Six months down the line the new iron that was exchanged stop working and was told that the guarantee of the iron the new iron that was not used for a year has expired. and there is nothing the shop can do for me. now my question is, is it how your store work? writing in pen on the receipt when the faulty product is returned and when it gives problem in six months is the customers problem not the manufactures fault? Is that you are buying the default products with a knowledge and sell them with profit when they give problem you are afraid to take them back to the manufactures because you and them knew that you bought the rejects form them? If is not like that why was I not given the new receipt to prevent hazels?

Second i baught a stapler which we luckaly opened in the store only to see its broken then when i took it back the staff looked at me and told me to go fetch another one while they stand around and chat i mean come on!! third... i got some doughnuts which was so old .... and 4th which really made me angry is i also baught sushi and guess what the rice was SOUR what the hell....... i am very dissapointed for buying over R1200 worth of stuff from your shop only to get this type of service and products i will never shop there ever again and i posted it on helo peter aswell...

Paid my utility bill at Mayville Hyper on the 24th of May 2016, and after being sent back and forth from Shoprite to the City council, my payment is STILL not reflecting. The City council gave me untill today 7/9/2016 to resolve the problem, otherwise I will have to pay it again or they are going to disconnect my electricity. Rose from Mayville Hyperama is of NO help what so ever. I cannot afford to take off work, and the fuel costs for this driving up and down to resolve other people's mistakes is getting out of hand now. PLEASE help to resolve this today.

I am very disgusted with Checkers Hyper, we went shopping last week spent over R7000 on groceries and were told that they had no little shopper collectables (had run out) but were still advertising at the shop. I want to know what you are going to do about this. I have 4 kids that are collecting and that is why we went to the Edenvale shop to do shopping. I feel that this is just a gimmick to attract you to the shop. But with no reward. Very very upset.

Dear Checkers Management, I'm really disappointed at checkers Sasolburg, my wife lost her wallet in the store apparently it was taken by two customers who were nearby and she immediately reported to the staff but they refused to help her and they even told her there are no cameras in stores. I visited Checkers at Centurion lifestyle Centre on Thursday the 07th of April 2016 and bought fried baby hake. That same Thursday a short while after eating the fish I fell sick. I started to vomit and had a runny stomach. I felt dizzy and couldn't stand up straight. I was rushed to a Doctor and I was diagnosed with severe food poisoning. Today it is Tuesday the 12th of April 2016, I went back to the store and asked to see the store manager. A lady by the name of Hilda assisted me and she was extremely rude and dismissive. She denied me access to see the store manager and claimed that she does not know where she is. I was booked off from work for three days because of the food poisoning I got from the fish I bought at Checkers Centurion lifestyle centre. Is that the kind of disgusting service you give to your clients? If this matter is not resolved today, I will be taking legal action against Checkers Centurion lifestyle

On Friday 5/2/16 at 6.15pm I was robbed in your store of my cellphone - Edenvale Hyperama. I was followed and boxed in by three well dressed women with braided hair. I know its not Hyperamas fault and I am not laying blame but there was no security in the aisles to ask assistance. However, a lady called Jennifer at the till point was very sympathetic and helpful and allowed us to look at the cctv footage. We managed to see how these three ladies robbed me. I just wanted to state that I think you should contstantly announce that these thieves are around and your security should be visible and trained to spot these no good people who pretend to shop and prey on innocent shoppers. Please make every effort to protect your customers to keep them and at the same time customers need to be vigilant all the time. I was momentarily distracted and got robbed!!

in June if not July 2014, I bought three 1L of foam bath that were going with 400ml hand wash at Checkers Centurion Mall. we took the 3 X 1L and 3 x hand lotion and were told at the till that its suppose to be hand wash and not lotion. a paper was written for us to come and collect the 3 x hand lotion when they are available as they were finished at that time. since June if not July we never saw the 400ml hand wash at checkers centurion until today. Now we have even lost that paper and we feel its unfair for us not be compensated for the hand wash because we normally buy 2L and at that time we bought those 1L to because of the special that was going with the hand wash. right now we felt cheated as this is the 2nd time it has happened to us. it first happened when checkers in centurion lifestyle centre mall was opening, where we did not get our 750 if not 500ml of sunlight liquids. We could not got hold of a item at our local Checkers Hyper here in Secunda that was out of stock. The staff on the floor was not that helpfull and we left. The weekend we tried other brances in Boksburg and Benoni, with no luck. Back at home we contact Freddie Kruger. He and one of his lady manager started immediately searching for the item we seriously needed before christmas. All the time they stay in contact with what is going on. Today they phoned me informing that the item was available in our store, and we can collect. That is service! Benoni and Boksburg,s managers must come and look and learn how things is done here! THANKS AGAIN!! Johnny.
