Cavalier Abattoir Unclaimed

Cavalier Abattoir is situated on the farm “Oog van Boekenhoutskloof", just outside of Pretoria and was established during 1998 as a very small, low throughput facility. The Cavalier Group acquired the abattoir during 2002 and over time, upgraded it to a compact and modern, high throughput lamb plant, conforming to the best of standards. Sheep and lamb are procured from farmers all over South Africa. 1200 Head of small stock are slaughtered on a daily basis and distributed to supermarkets and private butcheries, mainly in the Gauteng area.
