Our mission is to provide valuations that are credible and well-motivated so as to exceed the expectation of our clients and that of the industry. Our founders have had over 30 years’ experience across a wide range of property valuations, and have developed long-term relationships with clients who appreciate our above-average diligence taken in our work. Today we are on the Board of Valuers for some of South Africa’s top banks, including Nedbank, ABSA, Investec and SA Home Loans.

Justin, who recently joined the firm in 2019, puts his investigative and research skills gained from a background in journalism, to work. His job at a business publication that reported specifically on Africa allowed him to visit countries like Ghana, London and Dubai and garner a deep understanding of business and entrepreneurship on a global scale. He also currently works as a freelance writer for Rawson Properties – where he produces auctions articles on a weekly basis, as well as suburb reports and blog articles. With the help of Kate, Justin oversees the administrative day-to-day tasks at the firm, in addition to compiling research for a majority of Douglas Property Valuations’ reports.
