IAC was Established in 1982, primarily as a supplier of Bright Ground Bar to the spring Manufacturing Industry and was then known as LH Forgings Pty Ltd.Between 1982 – 1994 the Company grew to be a main supplier to the O.E Automotive Market of Coil Springs, stabilizer bars, wheel spanners, Strut Braces and Miscellaneous Components.In 1994, Len Ditchfield acquired 100% shareholding and developed the Company into a supplier of Automotive Helical Coil and Tension Springs to the Automotive Agricultural Railway Markets and simultaneously Established an Export Market for Sports Suspension and replacement Springs to Holland, Germany and the United Kingdom.
