Quaysure was established in 2009 to provide marine insurance products for both the private owners and commercial charters. We insure a variety of vessels from small runabout pleasure craft, bareboat charter fleet, crewed boat charter fleet, excursion vessels, dinner cruise vessels and sightseeing ships.  We have facilities with a number of major insurance companies in London, Europe, South Africa and we have relationships with cover holders for Lloyd’s of London. While we are physically located in Paarl in the Western Province of South Africa, our insurance focus is very much in the centre of the market and our customers are in all corners of the globe.South Africa held 0.5 percent of the sailing catamaran market a few years ago, but it now accounts for 30 percent of global sales with the second largest boat builder in the world situated in Cape Town. Due to this growth within the boat building industry, the demand for our products increased.
