SHARE is a township based social welfare NGO established in 1988 in KwaNobuhle township of Uitenhage in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro, Eastern Cape. It is registered as an NPO and as a Public Benefit Organization for tax rebates. SHARE provides services to orphan, cvulnerable children, marginalised women, disabled youth including assisting poor people to access governmet grants and deal with their social problems.It is run by a team of social workers and child care workers and governed by community members. SHARE gets a subsidy from department of Social Development and our major funders are the National Lottories Distribution Trust Fund, P.E.Children feeding Trust, Emfuleni Community Development Trust and VW Community Trust.
