Voice In Action Film And Drama Academy Unclaimed

Voice-In-Action Film and Drama Academy encourages creativity in their students through the medium of film and theatre. The Academy helps students to realize their potential in acting and film-making through an exciting and challenging curriculum facilitated by highly qualified and vibrant teachers.What makes us unique is that we not only offer classes in speech and drama for children but we then give the children the opportunity to act in the short films that the teenagers create in the film-making classes. This exposes them to the excitement of film and seeing themselves on the “big screen.”Our acting classes are offered in Somerset West for children from age 4-18 whilst our film-making classes are offered to teenagers from age 13-18.

What originally started as a low-key holiday drama workshop for a few children in the local Helderberg community quickly evolved into action-packed drama workshops for over 100 children in June 2011. Voice In Action Film & Drama Academy then followed up with a filmmaking workshop for teenagers in the October holidays. This workshop proved to be just as popular with many parents asking for filmmaking workshop to be developed for younger children, and so Voice In Action Film & Drama Academy was founded.
