Centre for Export Development is a Not for Profit Organisation established in order to support African exporters to get a foothold in the international market. CED uses a programmatic approach, which allows for increased integration of different services to enables us better deliver and account for results. The integrated programmes are focused on the key actors of this part of the value chain, which are exporters, importers, Business Support Organisations (BSO) and governmental authorities.
Our Interventions is aimed at increasing exports, growing manufacturing capacity and creating jobs in Africa. CED does this by strengthening the competitive capacity of SMEs and linking them to the international market. CED focuses only on the part of the value chain that is involved with export. We work with key actors in the value chain, which are exporters, importers, Business Support Organizations (BSO) and governmental authorities.
