The Sheriff 2005 software program is currently in use in over 30 large, medium and small Sheriff office's in South Africa as well as in one office in Swaziland. The program is mainly in use in the province of Gauteng, which is the economic powerhouse of South Africa. It is estimated that the Sheriff 2005 program processes in excess of 60% of all processes issued by the South African civil courts. The Sheriff's also serves and executes processes from a number of other courts (Constitutional Court, Labour Court, Maintenance Court, etc.) which is not included in the estimation.
