Bata - Liberty Midlands Mall Unclaimed

Terrible service received from this store!!! After buying a pair of Toughees school shoes for my son, the sides of the shoes surprisingly pulled apart. So i returned to the store on Sun 22 Feb to exchange the shoes, only to be told that they have no stock but they will confirm on Tues about collecting the replacement pair on Wed. Today (Fri 27 Feb) i am told by the 'store manager' that he still does not have the replacement shoes and I must wait until Wed 4 Mar when they have stock-take and the District Manager will be there. This still does not confirm whether the replacement shoes will even be there at that point, which is doubtful because the 'store manager' has only tried two stores since Sunday and didn't even have the decency to keep me updated. I feel this is pathetic and Bata, as a respected brand, should seriously consider sending this 'store manager' on a managerial course or find someone who could actually fulfill his obligations. Terribly Disappointed
