  Whether you are young or old, male or female, everybody enjoys the exhilaration of being on an off road motorcycle in nature. For the kiddies we have 50cc KTM’s, and for the more mature riders, we have quad bikes and 230 CRF Honda two wheeler’s. If you have your own off road motorcycle – AWESOME – bring it with on your next visit.

  We understand and respect the important role that religion plays in a persons life – that is why we go the extra mile to ensure that the camps are planned according to the specific needs. ( Prayer times, dietary requirements etc) These camps allow your children/ students to learn more about their faith and interact with fellow students in an ideal environment that allows for exploration and strengthening of their bond with their Master. The camp experience offers more than just faith-based learning. Physical activities like river rafting, river crossing, obstacle course , horseback riding,paintball war games, star gazing are a few of the available opportunities at Hakuna Matata for your son or daughter to engage in

  River Rafting/ Hotdog Tubing

  The ONE activity that you HAVE to do when coming to the Vaal River is RIVER RAFTING – the adrenaline that you experience going through a rapid, is one of the best feelings that you will EVER experience. Hakuna provides all safety equipment including life jackets and helmets. We have a 1 hour with one rapid rafting and a 3 hour with 8 rapids session (Time frames on water may change pending the traffic on the water and the water levels of the Vaalriver). Upon arrival at the river, the experienced trip leader gives a full safety briefing and instructions on how to paddle. The WILD BULL of the water – The HOTDOG is a huge favourite among youngsters – the Hotdog is a three seater inflatable, being pulled by a rubber duck, the passengers have to hold on as tightly as they can as the skippers main function is to do stunts to get his passengers off as soon as possible.

  School holiday coming up: 25th of March – 13th of April 2015. Are you one of those parents that have to work during the school holidays, the day care centers are closed and you have no idea what to do with the kids, well look no further. Here at Hakuna Matata we will keep your kids safe and entertained in a “farm” environment with a program that will keep them talking about it for weeks after they left. They will not only have fun and adventure, they will gain knowledge and become more confident individuals. We have two camps planned for this period: * 30th of March – 5th of April 2015 * 6th of April – 12th of April 2015 Activities List includes: Swimming Hotdog Tubing River Crossing River Rafting Obstacle Course Target Shooting Paintball War Games Guided Bush Walks that focuses on Fauna and Flora Volleyball Wall Climbing Boeresports – tug of war, “bokdrol” spitting, three legged race, egg and spoon race, wheelbarrow race. Horse Care and guided horseback out rides. Hiking History of the Vredefort World Heritage Site Night Activities List includes: Lantern Stalking/ Fireflies Star Gazing Night March /Hike Campfire Stories Game Night Movie Night No bookings one week prior to camp.

Our committed Hakuna Matata Team will make sure that your Camp is planned professionally and that the menu is healthy and well balanced. The kids/ students have the opportunity to sleep under the stars, to get dirty, to face their fears, to spend time in nature and to experience enriching new things. Whilst having fun, they learn to set new goals, work in a team and ultimately become fitter, stronger with a new sense of responsibility.
