He was 12 years old on his death bed and heard a heavenly sound singing ‘Ain’t no Grave gonna hold my body down.’ He agreed with heaven’s song and was radically healed. 80 years later Jonathan, Molly Skaggs and I picked it up and wrote new verses, weaving our own stories of resurrection with his. It’s crazy that ‘Raise a Hallelujah’ and ‘Ain’t No Grave’ are both about 2 young boys on the brink of death being radically healed.
