Who we are? Knowledge Thirst Media (KTM) is a publisherand distributor of books that was founded by Siraj Ghoor. Knowledge ThirstMedia is motivated by the education crisis, drop in literacy rates,ill-discipline and violence at schools coupled with the high prevalence of HIV,teenage pregnancies and sexual abuse that are putting our society at risk andthreatening our future.Knowledge Thirst Media endeavors to reachout to young people by addressing these and other social ills through its booksand other forms of media. Founder Siraj Ghoor is a former homeschool father who is now the Administrator of Open Minds Campus, a community of self-directed learners catering for 6 to 18 year olds. The Campus draws inspiration from the writings of A.S. Neill (Democratic Schooling), Rudolf Steiner (Waldorf), Loris Malaguzzi (Reggio Emilia), John Holt (Unschooling), Dorothy Sayers (Classical Education), Charlotte Mason, Dorothy and Raymond Moore (Delayed Academics), Susan Wise Bauer (Classical Education), Maria Montessori etc.
