Veld and Fynbos specialises in the production of indigenous and exotic rooted cuttings. Our plugs are produced in various sized plug trays. They are also used by landscapers for direct planting. Veld and Fynbos is very conscious of its carbon footprint and uses organic methods as much as possible for the production of plugs and the maintenance of its extensive mother garden. We pride ourselves on 'care-taking' the environment by undertaking search and rescue projects in conjunction with landscapers and developers. Plant material is harvested from the site, propagated and grown on in the nursery and re-introduced back into the environment when the project is completed. Landscaping plans and garden layouts keep our creative juices flowing. Our passion extends to bulbs of the Western Cape. These are sustainably produced, packaged and supplied as dry bulbs together with our new range of aromatic hand-made soaps using both indigenous and exotic essential oils.

Veld and Fynbos is a plug production nursery producing rooted plugs for the nursery and landscaping industry. Our focus is on indigenous plants but we also have a large exotic range of popular plants and herbs for the garden. We have a particular interest in conservation and strive to marry the commercial and conservation worlds. We do this by continually introducing indigenous flora from the different veld types onto the market.
