Laphumilanga is a non-profit organization that specializes in skills development, empowering and capacitating youth in small businesses, creating jobs and in so doing fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and economic independence. It also looks at enforcing social and community development initiatives to the youth, encouraging them to plough back their skills in their communities thereby lifting up their standards and that of the community. Laphumilanga provides much focused developmental opportunities, support services and recreational opportunities to the youth and the elderly by running business skills training programmes and capacity building workshops for emerging entrepreneurs, offering a wide range of aftercare support to assist emerging entrepreneurs to put the knowledge they have acquired into practice and developing youth programs that are of national and international standard with the objective of making the youth more responsible, accountable and have ability to run their own profit and non-profit making organizations
