We have not received a newspaper for three weeks. The first two weeks they said that the chap had resigned The third week they say they had a new person and we still did not receive a paper. They quick to take your money, it’s disgusting. Don’t use them at all.

Ay no, delivery service is bad. Having to call the call centre constantly, and they say someone will call, never happens. Day 3 now, still no delivery! Not impressive at all

The subsciption delivery is irregular . They deliver for a while, then stop. then i have to phone and phone and they take ages to get it right , then it stops again,

Saturday Star again not delivered this morning (05-05-2018) The deliveries remain erratic after years of apologies etc... For the record, nothing delivered today, got it last week, nothing the prior week. 1 out of 3 is completely unsatisfactory, I'll be cancelling my subscription again next week.

Delivery ? What delivery. Once they have your money you maybe get one newspaper a month. If you are lucky - I will never renew my service The call center is useless

Worst delivery service ever. Also does not help calling to complain. I requested change of address for delivery but this never happened. Also requested cancellation of service but they keep lodgong debit orders. Total lack of feedback after complaining almost every week. Definitely won't recommend them. One star or lower rating.

On or about the 12th of October I received a call from The Star enquiring as to why I had not renewed my yearly subscription. I explained that the deliveries were too erratic and therefore I would not be renewing. The lady then offered it to me on a monthly basis and I refused. However after she assured me that they now had new delievery personnel I reluctantly agreed to give it another chance BUT FOR ONE MONTH ONLY and if the deliveries were reliable, I would consider renewing again. This morning I called Independent Newspapers Home Deliveries to inform them that since starting the deliveries again on the 17th October, 4 deliveries had been missed and I would not be renewing. To my surprise, this evening I received an SMS from FNB stating that R178.85 had been reserved for a purchase from Independent Newspapers. This is obviously for another month! In my opinion this is fraud and I will be reporting it to FNB in the morning. I DO NOT WANT THE STAR ANY LONGER and never again!

No paper delivered today and the delivery office is closed when you call them. It can't be that difficult to deliver a newspaper. Kids do it in other countries.

We have subscribed to The Star and Saturday Star foe at least thirty years. Mostly there have been no problems. Just lately, however, we have twice experienced getting only part of the paper on Saturday. BOTH times I have phoned only to be told another would be delivered, BOTH times it wasn't. BOTH times I phoned TWICE and was told by a somewhat irritated /exasperated person on the other side it would definitely be delivered. Bottom line is we are being lied to AND not getting the paper and it is unbelievably irritating because Saturday is one day when you can lie in and do crosswords and other puzzles and enjoy the travel section etc. These are the parts that aren't delivered. It is enormously frustrating and is just POR, POOR service to a customer that has been one for years.

Ever since we have had the change over in home delivery system, we have only had 2 delivered. We clearly need someone to investigate the Beverley Gardens Randburg deliveries and credit for all the times we have not received our paper!!!

I object to getting the morning edition in the afternoon - who in their wisdom made this decision and WHY was I not afforded the courtesy of a choice considering I pay for the service? After receiving the sms yesterday I phoned and was assured a manager would call me? Cancel my subscription forthwith I will buy my own final edition.
