Originally known as the Standard Bank Property Fund and subsequently Allan Gray Property Trust, the Trust was renamed Fountainhead Property Trust on 1 June 2007 after The Standard Bank of South Africa Limited purchased the controlling share in the company responsible for the management of the Trust Former Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Fountainhead Property Trust Management Limited, and Head of Business Development at Virgin Active Former Managing Director of Fountainhead Property Trust Management Limited
