Went quite a few times and got really fed up with them not listening to what you ask for. But the worst is, you make an appointment they tell you one thing and one reasonable price, as soon as they start touching your hair the price just goes up. The ****ing ****tiest communication and customer service I’ve ever experienced. Never going back again. Once went to get my hair colored as a special was promoted for around R1200 left paying around R4000. And recently went to get my hair touched up with a colored conditioner I bought from them, and they had to dilute with a bit of their conditioner. They told me R260 as a blow dry as I brought my own color, but again price went up to R650 after they already put me in the basen chair. Left with a bill of R810. Ridiculous. Wish I could give ZERO stars. I even called them and they still wouldn’t budge, didn’t even get an apology nevermind a refund.

Shocking, disgusting, terrible. I went to Carlton Hair Bedfordview on 17 December. The junior stylist who did my hair made a mess of the colour. I went back on 28 December to have it fixed and my hair came out bright orange. I was told to go home and wait for it to wash out. I went back on 2 January for a refund and was told that I had to submit a form to head office. I completed the form and have heard nothing from them. I have tried to call them but they don't answer their phones. There is no website, no email address and no complaints procedure. Is this an international company? The stylists don't know what they're doing, there is no online presence and no standard procedures for dealing with customers, they don't answer phones and there is no accountability. I paid a lot of money and then I had to pay more for someone who actually knows how to do hair to fix my hair. Seems like more of a bucket shop to me. You are governed by the CPA so I suggest someone gets back to me.
