Bax Sleep Lab performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures associated with Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA). This is a condition whereby there are pauses in breathing during sleep and is associated with loud snoring. Patients who suffer from OSA present with excessive daytime sleepiness, loud snoring, pauses in breathing, and are usually overweight. The condition is diagnosed by performing an overnight Polysomnogram (PSG) which can be done at the Sleep Clinic, in hospital, or at the patient's home. If you are positively diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnoea, an overnight CPAP Titration study is performed to assess clinical response.
