DataDot is the current market leader in South Africa with over 2 million vehicles having already been secured, using our technology. Check your vehicles back quarter glass window and you will probably find our sticker confirming this. Also if you are an owner of a brand new vehicle, check in the glove box and make sure you have registered for your DataDot Product Guarantee. We can report that after 10 years of micro-dotting vehicles in SA that; to date; DataDotted vehicles are more than 50% less desirable to thieves.
Microdot fitment to vehicles and trailers is compulsory for all new vehicles and trailers as well as vehicles which require a police clearance. This is Gazetted in terms of Regulation 56 and 337B and the National standard SANS 534-1.
