A properly-designed and well-managed dumping site can be a relatively inexpensive method of disposing of waste materials. These boilers provide steam to drive the turbine, nominally rated at 5mW per boiler. The steam required for the autoclave process is delivered by the hot gas boiler, thus eliminating the need for an alternative fuel source once the plant is operating at steady state conditions. 65mW of the 75mW power produced by the plant is available for export to the National Grid. This amount of electricity is generated by using 2800tons of Municipal waste per day.This can increase by increasing the size of the plant.
