• Description/Remarks Unako Mentoring Organisation was established in November 2008 in response to the lack of educational resources found in our schools, the high drop out rate of the youth in high schools and institutes of higher learning We currently have an office at Ikamvalethu High School, in Langa, Cape Town, which we use as a base for our activities If we looked at the recent report from the department of education that students especial from township schools fail to cope with the university load and end up dropping within their first year, this could be reduced if the students are exposed to the methods of study used at these institutions at an early age
