SAMTI is a Seda Agricultural and Mining Tooling Incubator and is a Tooling and Design SAMTI assists with the establishment of sustainable tooling design enterprises<!-- business info --><br/><br/>The SEDA Agricultural + Mining Tooling Incubator (SAMTI) is a business incubator for Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMME) in South Africa’s tooling sector for the mining and agricultural environments. We focus on training individuals and regional communities on the design and development of tools through a technology-based development approach. We provide innovative, entrepreneurial opportunities to people to create and develop an enterprise within the tooling sector. We assist with the establishment of sustainable tooling design businesses. SAMTI is a section 21 company and is governed by a board of directors comprising of experts from the Central University of Technology (CUT) and the SEDA Technology Programme (STP). We are based in the Faculty in Engineering on the CUT campus in Bloemfontein, Free State. The Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) is an agency of the South African Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) which was established in December 2004 through the National Small Business Amendment Act, Act 29 of 2004. SAMTI is a funded subsidiary of SEDA, supported by CUT to develop the SMME tooling market in the Free State Province.<!-- /business info -->
