• Description/Remarks I am a clinical psychologist working for the South African Military Health Services (SAMHS) at 1Military Hospital and run a private practice in the Pretoria area. I offer various mental health services including psychological assessments, individual and group therapy as well as family and couples therapy. I am familiar with various treatment modalities, including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, family systems therapy, narrative therapy and hypnosis. My approach is based on the unique needs and qualities of each client to ensure personalised treatment of the problem. The intervention to be used is negotiated with each client, keeping in mind their goals for therapy as well as the personal and financial resources available to them. Consequently recommendations for either individual, group or family/couples therapy are offered to prospective clients based on its appropriateness for reaching their goals.
