It is required by the law that only a person in possessionof a liquor license be permitted to serve alcohol to the public.Note that anapplication can only be lodged on the first Friday of every month with theNotification in the Government Gazette done within/± two (2) weeks prior tolodgment date. Approval of application normally takes 3 to 4 months. A liquor license can be obtained at a price ofR 12 500 (In Gauteng). For other provinces quotation available on request.
