• Description/Remarks Who will be Cape Towns Biggest ‘Loser’? The Weight loss challenge is a public service program designed to fight the obesity epidemic in South Africa. Our Wellness consultant service educates individuals on the potential risks of their current lifestyles in hope to improve the quality of life for people through awareness. South Africa is one of the most obese countries in Africa with soaring rates of diabetes and heart attacks. Our mission is to help people lose weight and keep it off, through a 12-week challenge that is already helping hundreds to shed kilos healthily. Participants will meet just one hour a week for personal coaching, weekly nutrition education, and group support. Best of all, it’s social and fun! Wellness topics will cover the importance of Protein, making sense of carbohydrates, healthy grocery shopping and exercise Anyone can join a challenge with a onetime R686,00 registration fee. The Grand Prize of a Trip for Two to Zanzibar will be awarded to the biggest ‘loser’ based on the percentage of weight lost, Fat loss and cm loss at the end of 12 weeks!
