Once the homework duties are over, the children will be encouraged to play outdoors, weather permitting, to explore nature in our vegetable patch and enjoy outside games.MOTHER EASRTHS CHILDREN’s approach to education has combined the best practices of all the important Schools with the National Curriculum as well as other disciplines. For this reason we consider ourselves unique. Our Curriculum follows the developmental stages of the child, this being based upon new games, themes or subjects introduced. Children will be allowed to learn at their own pace and encouraged to follow their own special interests, and all within a specific set of guidelines. We aim to encourage children to develop as individuals through active play that will allow them to start understanding who they are and their roles in society.Through play we aim to create a love and desire for learning. We aim to promote the child’s natural curiosity through creative activities which excite, challenge and motivate the child. In so doing, we cultivate pre-academic skills – gross and fine motor skills, socialization and concentration. After all, play is the “work of a ChildWe teach positive values such as honesty, compassion, respect for self and respect for others including all living creatures and the environment. We also teach, encourage and practice principals such as recycling.
