I attended at the branch earlier this afternoon with my wife. We patiently waited our turn as there was only one teller on duty. A gentleman then entered and walked straight up to the counter - although my wife was next in line to be assisted. The teller - Eric Joli - then attended to assist the gentleman without telling him to join the queue. Once he had finished serving the gentleman - Eric Joli - did not even apologise to my wife or explain as to why he chose to attend to the gentleman who had simply 'jumped the queue. When my wife stated that she wished to pay a traffic fine - Eric Joli - indicated that she could do it via the ATM. On accessing the ATM and requesting the 'additional services' she noted that there was no option for 'payment of fines'. We then attended at the ABSA branch - and the teller processed the payment with no difficulty whatsoever - the only conclusions to be drawn - 1. FNB's systems are not up to date? 2. The teller - Eric Joli - simply wished not to assist.
