The Insurance Institute of the Cape of Good Hope was first established in 1898 and is the oldest local institute in South Africa. We are a non-profit organisation, established to serve the interest of the entire insurance community of the Western Cape

The IIWC runs a number of regular recreational and fundraising activities for members throughout the year. These range from golf and lawn bowls to charity auctions and social events such as general knowledge and music quizzes. The main event on our calendar is the glamorous annual gala dinner, where members of the industry get together to network with all their counterparts in the industry whilst enjoying an entertaining evening of dinner and dancing with live entertainment. A black tie affair that is always enjoyed by all.
