Zaytoun, the company that launched the world's first Fairtrade olive oil, is now giving SA citizens the chance to access Palestinian Fairtrade produce.We are a Fair Trade company and a member of WFTO. In 2009 we launched the world’s first ever Fairtrade olive oil, a tribute to the hard work of the Palestinian producers and processors with whom we work.We bring in not only oil but dates, olives & za’atar (This is an everyday staple in the Middle East; a herb mix of wild thyme, toasted sesame and sumac. It is a zesty seasoning, delicious with olive oil on fresh bread, on tomato salads or rubbed onto chicken before roasting.)Purchasing Zaytoun products means you can help empower oppressed and disadvantaged Palestinian farming communities through a sustainable initiative that works through trade and not aid.
