From humble beginnings, Tower City Trading (TCT) was founded on 1st June 1996. Interestingly the company started off with no funding and zero asset base. The company has grown to employ 20 permanent and 30 casual staff nationally. We are very mindful that our existence has implications on the families of those we employ, probably 200 people in South Africa. Our profit is marginal as bulk of the sales revenue has been cast into the earnings and benefits of our staff, however we remain self sufficient and able to achieve most of the objectives we set ourselves for the growth of the business and ourselves.
