Vagabond Trailers, one of the earliest trailer manufacturing companies, is well known for its high quality marine trailers since the early 70s. In 1998, West Coast Steel Designs took over the manufacturing of the Vagabond series trailers and combined the marine trailers with custom built trailers including a wide range of flat-deck trailers. West Coast Steel Designs is a structural steel company which specialises in precision welding to engineers' designs. All trailers are SABS approved and manufactured by certified welders.
