Budget Auto Centre Unclaimed

We took our bakkie to Budget in MAitland they told us the engine packed up and it will cost in the region of R40000 to repair. We did that then two days later the bakkie stalled. Apparently the top gasget was at fault. The bakkie was towed to them and THREE MONTHS later we still do not have the vehicle. Endless phone calls and LOTS of promises later we still do not know the status of our vehicle. No one wants to say who the owner is. We are losing money daily with no one willing to say if we will be reimbursed for what we have lost and is losing.. We are beyond frustrated . We have lost ALL FAITH in Budget. We regularly took both our vehicles there for service. The Person in charge of that branch is rude and threw the phone down when i made an enquiry. Please can the owner of this company contact me.

I took my renault to budget on the 26/06/2014 for repairs, cv joints, service and mountings. Got the car back the same . Took the car back seven times over the last month with no change, each time they say the car is sorted but it is not. They even forgot to put a part back. Do not take your car to them.

Anybody tempted to take their car to Auto Budget Repair in CT, whether on a Groupon, or as a regular service provider, do not take your car there. I had my car serviced on Thursday. My car was fine when I took it in for a routine service. After collecting it, the car made a huge noise. It felt like one of the wheels was loose. I managed to get them to send in a mechanic to tighten all the loose bits, but the car still made a noise. It appears that they used the wrong oil that now has to be drained from the car. Short end, I still can't use my car. The company has not sorted it out. And I have R5000 less than I had on Thursday (Groupon plus R4 000 unitemised bill). I don't know what qualifications they have but they seem unable to do a routine service.
