Founded in 1987, VB Electronics was serving the Free State as Electronic Contractors in the fields of two way radio communication, security and sound installations. Gradually they specialised in Church Sound Installations, a niche market which requires specialised skills due to the unique acoustic challenges of each building. Today they are serving the Free State, Northern Cape and northern parts of the East Cape. In 2003 a branch was founded in Johannesburg, serving Gauteng and North West. This branch is called Acoustics3d. Having built up a support base of a magnitude of suppliers and brand names, VB Electronics and Acoustics3d can satisfy almost any reasonable budget. Each installation is preceded by an acoustic analysis to be able to tweak the planned sound system for vocal clarity and intelligibility, regardless of the room acoustics.
